Completists will want it, but unless you are interested in the evolution of artists I'd skip it in favor of the next couple collections, and only buy it if you're really in love with the characters. Mezieres' artwork is stiff but inventive; the story is a lot of wild nonsense.

Love the illustrations but there it stops, so to see this one has been a breath of fresh air. Having grown up with European style comic books I'm biased but I think this book is superb and loved reading it. Still on with the other books in this collection, but have to pace myself as too much of a good thing can put you off or make the stories too predictable, valerian comic free download.

With the imminent release of Luc Besson's movie adaption, I wanted to read the back story origins of this eye popping movie.
This hard cover collection translated to English is gorgeous, and is a must have for fans of sci-fi. Unknown to me, valerian comic free download, this story predates Star Wars which seems to have borrowed a lot from Valerian's universe.
